We’re passionate about our oceans.
Pollution has been reported to be one of the five main drivers of the current biodiversity crisis, threatening 40% of marine mammals with extinction, as mentioned on the Marine Conservation Society website.
Our aim is to raise £10,000 in a year for Surfers Against Sewage (Registered Charity in England & Wales No. 1145877) by hosting monthly beach cleans in and around Suffolk. We are also participating in The Million Mile Clean.
On the first week of every month, our staff will be dedicating their mornings to picking up litter on our beaches.
We are encouraging volunteers and local businesses to sacrifice an hour or so each month to join us on our mission. We understand that people may have other commitments, so even if you aren’t able to attend, we would still appreciate any support you can offer, from a small donation towards our charity fundraising goal, or sharing our Facebook events.
Join us in the first week of every month in and around Suffolk for a morning of beach cleaning to help us raise money for our oceans.
What you’ll need to join us*:
Creightive Ltd cannot accept liability for any loss, damage or injury suffered by you or anyone else as a result of taking part in our beach cleans.
See below for a list of some of our supporters who have either donated to our fundraising campaign or who have joined us on our beach cleans!
If you would like information on how your business can become a supporter, please get in touch with our team at email@example.com. Let’s save our oceans together.
We hold our beach cleans within the first week of every month. Obviously, no one wants to really litter pick for hours in the pouring rain, so events will be dependant on the weather but also based off of tide times as best as possible.
It is preferable if you are able to bring your own beach clean equipment. However, we can supply litter pickers and bin bags if required. If you need us to supply equipment, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
We want to ensure that our volunteers are happy and safe, so we must ask that any sharps, metals, unhygienic litter (such as dog poo or tampons) are not picked up, and if they are, they are at your own risk. We ask that volunteers alert a member of staff. Creightive Ltd cannot accept liability for any loss, damage or injury suffered by you or anyone else as a result of taking part in our beach cleans.
Some sites that we may clean could be the home to a variety of wildlife, some sites could include nesting areas. We ask that all volunteers do not disturb any wildlife whilst on our clean and if a nesting area or seal is spotted, to alert one of our members of staff.
We will always try to base our cleans near public parking and toilets, however, sometimes this may not always be achievable. For example, some sites may not have toilets available, or some beach cleans may involve a walk to the beach to start the clean. We ask that all volunteers check the location and parking fee requirements before attending the event, and do so at their own risk.
Creightive Ltd cannot accept liability for any loss, damage or injury suffered by you or anyone else as a result of taking part in our beaches.
